The idea to create our line of interactive cards came from a card that my daughter made for me several years ago. No verse....but a memorable attempt to tell me why I was so special. She wrote..."Things I like about my Dad...1) his smile; 2) his lagh; and 3) his humer". This misspelled birthday greeting meant the world to me. In the fall of 2008, I decided to create a line of interactive birthday cards that children could give to their Mom, Dad, and Grandparents. These cards would be without verse but would allow the child to share memorable information about themselves and to provide special thoughts about the recipient. The cards would be age specific and would actually grow with the child. Changes in the child's life could be captured and the cards would become wonderful keepsakes that the parents and grandparents would enjoy receiving each year. With the help of family and some very talented professionals, Lifetymz™ greeting cards was introduced in the fall of 2009. Along with 10 birthday cards, a "Family Anniversary", "Friendship", "Father's Day", "Mother's Day" and "Teacher Appreciation" card are featured. All of these cards carry the tradition theme and should be fun for all. We plan to offer our cards through our website while we explore retail store and fund raising opportunities. Please contact us if you know anyone interested in our "Cards Creating Traditions". My Mom always said that the cards were worth more to her than the gifts she received. I know our cards will live up to that expectation.
